This year, Limestone will be a one-day event on Saturday June 1, 2019, at the Kingston Frontenac Public Library’s main branch at 130 Johnson St. As always, there will be author readings, writing workshops, and panels, but make sure you stop by the vendor’s room to pick up a novel or two.

Another Day, Another Con
Kingston, Ontario, is a charming city with a small-town feel, and Limestone Genre Expo 2017 reflected the host city’s character quite accurately. Apparently the convention is only a few years old but growing steadily despite Kingston’s lack of reputation for being a centre of speculative fiction, and it’s a great way to meet Canadian authors, booksellers, and publishers.

Next weekend, I will be heading up to beautiful Ottawa for Cancon 2016. I haven’t been to Ottawa in YEARS and this will be my first time ever at CanCon , so I’m thoroughly stoked despite the eleven-hour round trip by bus.
